Rare American Grain-Painted Snuff Box with Ivory Dial

Fine and unusual American snuffbox with faux grain-painted body and ivory dial with a pierced heart window. The window, when rotated displays the numbers 1-X (10). Probably used as a game (cards or dice) counter.
Condition: Excellent with a minor hairline extending from one hinge (see picture of hinges/back). Remains of snuff caked to the interior.
