Powers has an extensive fine arts background and is an acknowledged expert of historical woodenware, having authored the acclaimed book, NORTH AMERICAN BURL TREEN: COLONIAL & NATIVE AMERICAN.

Specialties include Native American (Woodlands) and Colonial era treen and burl treen, American folk art, select English treen, and American & English snuffboxes.

Powers is the Vice President of the Antiques Dealers’ Association of America (ADA) and a member of the New Hampshire Antiques Dealers’ Association (NHADA).
